Although COVID 19’s first wave started in March 2020, 2020-21 rubber export volume has increased about 40 percent compared to last year. Being considered to be one of the most potential rubber exporters in Asia, Myanmar has rubber export volume of about 200,000 tons in 2019-2020 and in the financial year of 2020-2021 , the number of export volume has grown to about 300,000 tons generating an income of over $200 million.
